BloggerCon IV: June 23-24 in SF

We've got two venues committed now, so there will be at least two tracks. We're working on space for another track and I'm starting to put together a grid, and a list of DLs I want. If you've been a DL at a previous BloggerCon and are available to do this one, please let me know. No guarantees, but it would help to get things together more quickly, and given the closeness of the dates, time is of the essence. ;->

A new idea for this Con: Mini-conferences in 1.5 hours. For example, we're going to invite the organizers of BlogHer to lead a discussion that's a preview of what's to come at BlogHer which is a month later. I want to have a Vloggercon discussion, that continues the conversation started there, which is a week earlier in SF. BarCamp SF is happening at the same time, so we can share facilities, if there's an interest. And Gnomedex is one week later, in Seattle, so a preview of the discussions at that conference will be especially timely. More events are expanding in time and geography, and I want to see if we can capture that in BC.

Another new facet: Marc tells me that a bunch of people are coming to town to talk about Digital Lifestyle Aggregators. I suggested that we make a room available for him to lead a discussion about that. It won't be BloggerCon format, but why can't we accomodate groups that want to use our venue to further their work? We can, and Marc will do a great job, I'm sure. They'll have their own rules for discourse.
