Day 1 Schedule

Caveat: This schedule is subject to change, however the times for registration, lunch, the reception and dinner will not change.

7:00AM-8:00AM Registration, coffee, juice, bottled water, caffeinated soft drinks, bagels, donuts, spot famous bloggers, schmoozing, connect your laptop to the Internet.
8:00AM-8:30AM Morning Coffee Notes -- Dave Winer, Host, BloggerCon 2003. Dave talks while we all some coffee. Explain how the day works. Discussions, no speeches, no presentations, we're here to learn, solve problems. Where are the bathrooms. Who's here. Any announcements? If you have a question, raise your hand, get the attention of one of the monitors, they'll come to your seat with a microphone. Comments are fine, so are questions.
8:30AM-8:45AM Interview with a blogger. TBD.
8:45AM-10:15AM Weblogs and Journalism, moderated by Ed Cone, starring Glenn Reynolds, Joshua Marshall, Scott Rosenberg.
10:15AM-10:45AM Break, drinks, discussion, schmoozing, blogging.
10:45AM-11AM Interview with a blogger. TBD.
11AM-12:30PM Weblogs in Education, moderated by Lance Knobel, starring AKM Adam, Pat Delaney, Jenny Levine, Kaye Trammel, Brian Weatherson.
12:30PM-1:45PM Lunch. Sign up for dinners.
1:45PM-3:15PM Cluetrain 2003, The Second Superpower, moderated by Christopher Lydon, starring Jim Moore, Doc Searls, Elizabeth Spiers, Adam Curry.
3:15PM-3:30PM Break.
3:30PM-5PM Weblogs in Presidential Politics, moderated by Dave Winer, starring chief bloggers from the leading presidential campaigns including Mathew Gross (Dean), Joe Jones (Graham), Eric Folley (Democratic National Committee), Cameron Barrett (Clark).
5:30PM-7:00PM Drinks, schmoozing, exchange business cards, gossip about Day One, ask people if they're participating in Day Two. Last minute sign up for dinner. Location: Norton's Woods at American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
7:30PM-10PM Dinner at a Cambridge/Somerville restaurant, discussions led by interesting and famous bloggers.
