Description:In the September 2003 issue of the Harvard Business Review, Ms Suitt wrote a case study entitled A Blogger in Their Midst, which framed the most basic questions about weblogs in business. What happens when an employee writes publicly (and honestly) about the company's products, customers, the workplace? How do companies communicate with customers and the press when employees, customers and competitors have an equal voice on the Internet? Are "house bloggers" a valuable asset or a potential liability? Before weblogs, companies mostly controlled what was known about themselves; now that has changed -- how will businesses respond? Halley will lead a lively discussion considering all points of view.
